Our annual fall banquet was an enjoyable experience for guests. The Lord stirred so many hearts as nearly 800 individuals listened to the insightful words spoken by our keynote speaker Monica Cline, former Title X (family planning) Training Manager and volunteer educator for Planned Parenthood. She shared about the diabolical scheme of the abortion industry to indoctrinate our children with explicit sexual content at an early age.

Grooming young children desensitizes them to sexual behaviors and prevents them from experiencing the intimacy of healthy relationships, which produces an endless cycle of sexual activity that leads to unplanned pregnancies and the selling of abortions. This is an intentional plan carried out by the abortion industry to profit from the immoral deconstruction of the family.

CPC Metro Executive Director Erin Kate Goode ended the night with a call to action for the Body of Christ to be just as strategic in bringing hope to women in our state that will end the demand for abortion. She shared our mission to come together to build a culture of life through our prevention, intervention, and extension programs. Together, we can educate children and prevent unplanned pregnancies and abortions. We can intervene when women are in crisis and offer hope and real solutions that meet women’s physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional needs. Lastly, we can extend support beyond her pregnancy decision by providing practical solutions like resource centers, educational seminars, and support systems like the local Church. CPC Metro is more than a pro-birth ministry. We want women and their babies to have a chance to thrive in life. Here in Mississippi, we can make Life the priority.
